Our 2024 WATSSA Awards were held during the WATSSA Conference at Crown Perth on 2nd of May. This event provides an opportunity to recognise excellence in school-based technical support and we were excited to introduce two new awards this year. There were many worthy nominees put forward by their peers and school leaders, for their outstanding contribution to ICT support in their schools. The 2024 WATSSA Award winners were:
IT Community Engagement Award – Kobie Pember (Geraldton Senior High School)
Regional Technical Support Staff Member of the Year – William Gentsch (Kalgoorlie Boulder Community High School)
Congratulations to our very well-deserving winners and to all of the nominees.
Past Vice-President, Jon Stanley, was presented with an award in recognition for his valuable contribution to WATSSA.
